3One's Broadband over Powerline (BPL) Access Systems are the clear choice for distributing high-speed data and Internet access throughout a commercial building. 3One BPL Systems allow for a building's single business class Internet connection to be distributed to every room in the building - through existing electrical outlets. 3One Broadband over Powerline (BPL) technology is an Ethernet based broadband communication system utilizing electrical power line infrastructure. 3One BPL systems create a highly reliable network by providing consistent data transfer rates throughout an entire commercial building, regardless of age, size or configuration. Once a 3One BPL System is installed, a building's entire local power grid becomes an enterprise level broadband network. The network is accessed by plugging a 3One BPL Modem into any power outlet and connecting a computer's Ethernet cable into the BPL Modem. 200 Mbps BPL System

3One Network's 200Mbps BPL System produces maximum bandwidth to accommodate multiple simultaneous applications within highly networked environments including shared broadband Internet access, data networking and audio and video streaming. As such, the system is suitable for all multi dwelling unit applications as well as multi tenant applications including high rise office complexes.

The system provides up to 200 Mbps of bandwidth over powerline networks while supporting advanced QoS features for loss sensitive applications such as VoIP, CCTV security systems and IPTV. The system provides a highly integrated and optimized solution for supporting bandwidth intensive next-generation home entertainment applications such as High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) video distribution, IPTV, and media center PCs.

With technology incorporating 1155 carrier windowed OFDM, Turbo Convolutional Codes, precise channel adaptation and noise mitigation, the system can effectively combat attenuation and noise interference. 50Mbps BPL Access System

The 3One 50Mbps BPL system utilizes the existing in-building electrical cabling to provide a bi-directional path for digital data between an Internet access point and multiple end-users. Extended Range Digital Power Line Communication System

In addition to In-building BPL Access products and services, 3One has developed an Extended Range Digital Power Line Communications System up to 180 miles without repeater that provides significant cost savings in Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) environments. The system has been deployed by State Grid Corporation of China and other international customers.

From Analog Separation to Digital Integration

Traditional Power Line Communication devices deployed on MV and HV power lines generally operate using analog separation techniques such as Frequency Division Multiplexing and Single Side Band Modulation and Demodulation technologies and are limited to one voice channel and one tele-operation (remote control/monitoring) channel.

With both system automation and security requirements in the power utility industry increasing, the need to communicate with unattended substations has grown significantly. Traditional analog based PLC systems can no longer provide communications for all transformer substations or related applications requirements.
